Update of Whatcom County Restoration and Safety Plan

BP's long-term restoration plan for Whatcom, Hannah, and Cemetery Creek continues. The restoration plan has four main components

• Land acquisition and public access
• Salmon habitat
• Re-vegetation and soil stabilization
• Long-term maintenance and monitoring

We firmly believe that the goal of healthy, mature, forested watersheds can be achieved through this plan. In fact, many of the affected areas in and around the accident area will be improved upon from pre-fire conditions
